hornet stings and teticles not descended

Question
I actually have 2 questions, 1. My female just bit a hornet, and i think she got stung but cannot find where, what is the best precautionary method for her, she seems to be okay, but is acting a little frightened, she won't let me open her mouth to check (she is a westie). My next question is about my male yorkie-poo, his testicles have not descended yet, he just turned a year old in January, I called PAWS, they told me to wait a couple more months to see if they do descend... I was wondering if this is a very dangerous thing for him, I never had that problem with a male dog before.

Answer
Offer her a treat.  If she refuses to eat it, skip the rest of this answer and call the vet.  Her throat could swell shut if the hornet stung her in it.  Otherwise call the vet in the morning if she still shows any sign of a problem.

While you have the vet on the phone, schedule an appointment to have him neutered.  Undecended testicles are a serious genetic defect.  No responsible person would ever allow such a dog to breed after having it surgically corrected.  I question the ethics of any vet that would do so.
