what kind of dog would you recommend?

Hi,

My name is Brady and I am looking for a dog that is good with kids and likes
to hunt.  I live on 1.2 acres and have an area where the dog can run.  I like
dogs of all sizes.  Please let me know what you think.

You probably can't do better then a beagle,there good hunting dogs and are known for being excellent hunting dogs and are a perfect size for children,too big to really worry about being hurt,but also to small to knock over or over power kids

They also enjoy running

so I think a beagle is probably the best dog for your family
