Question
Hello

I have a two month old golden/lab cross puppy, she has her first vaccine. Could I take her for short walks around the block even thou she only has her first vaccine? Why do puppys need to have three vaccines in there first year?

Answer
You can take her on short walks but she has to stay on leash with no interaction with other dogs at all untill shes done with her vaccines.
There is no number of shots per year, some vets say 2, some say 3. You have to talk to your vet about what vaccine your dog will take and how many in their first year.
Watch out while walking the dog not to let him bite anything, and make sure he doesnt bite you either.
