Question
I have a 10 week old cockapoo. I took her to the vet for her checkup and mentioned that she urinates way too much for a puppy and many times no urine is passed when she squats. I was able to get a urine sample and she does have an infection. What I want to know is it common for a puppy to get an UTI. Thanks, Gale

Answer
Hi Gale
NO NO a healthy pup does not get an infection this young in bladder or kidneys this is genetic and get back to the BREEDER YOU BOUGHT FROM NOW!
This puppy should be happy, healthy pain free and ready to procede in life without problems as a youngster so young, this is genetic I swear and the BREEDER BETTER CORRECT THIS NOW!
I have never had a puppy ill this young.  Not even an adult till breeding age and using them things might develope.  U contact where you bought your sweetie and have it made right either a replacement or pay half the price of refund, or whatever u can work out but do not let them get away with this in an infant so young, do not let them jabber lies to you act like a pro stand up and tell them u have discussed this and it is not normal and u want either half your money returned, a replacement made on a healthier litter later in writing or a full refund and u spay her now and forget the problem and u have the problem NOT  THE BREEDER, LET THEM KNOW YOUR UPSET AS THIS HAS TO BE GENETICS AND U WANT IT MADE RIGHT NOW.
Trust me they will if they have good ethics and are online with a web site.

Kind Regards and let me know.
