Sacks in stool?

Question
Our shih tzu/bichon mix puppy (just a few days shy of one year) was noticeably uncomfortable this evening.  She made a 2 grunts/whimpers and then darted off my lap.  We then heard a wierd noise and when we went to the stairs we saw a substance we thought was puke but after getting a bit closer realized it was some odd looking/very loose stool. While cleaning it there seemed to be sacks of some sort in her stool.  Almost as if she had eaten a plastic bag.  Now this could be the case as we are always trying to get her to not chew and get into everything, but I am concerned it is something more serious.  The few parts of stool that was intact and not completely liquid were dark with white bumps which were very close together.  Its very hard to describe what I saw but hopefully this will give you an idea of what we are dealing with. We are keeping a close eye on her and since it is getting late I would rather not bring her into the vet until the morning if it can wait.  Thank you.
