Heat for new moma dogs

Can my dog go into heat after littering puppies?  They are 4 weeks old, her first litter and she is almost 3.

hello depending on the breed.....some dogs go into heat every 4/6 months some less often 8-10 months, think of it this way it took 2 months to carry the puppies....will take 2 months to wean the puppies thats 4 months so its very possilbe she  can come into heat again very soon, You will do best not to breed her again this coming cycle she should wait another year.
