Miniature Poodle - 1 yr old - seeking advice about dry food

Question
We have decided to use dry food.  Wanted your opinion about some brands rec'd to me.  Solid Gold Millenium, Innova, Science Diet (from Vet, not store) and Iams.  I found premiumfoodsonline.com to be informative but HUGE amount of information and would take me a year to figure it all out.

Never owned a dog before, thank you in advance !

Answer
Solid gold I have haeard good things about as have I on Innova.  I would stay as far away as I could get from Science diet of any kind and the same with Iams.  You want to find a food that is free of wheat and corn products in any form.  Iams contains corn as do most types of Science diet and poodles dont do well on either.  Another coupld of good foods are Canidea, and Biljack that I recommend.
These are free of the corn and wheat products.  These are fillers and most dogs have allergies to these products.  You may also want to stay away from Chicken products as a lot of dogs are starting to have allergies to chicken.  This seems to be a new developement.
