   hi my dog died over the weekend..she bew up like a baloon.. i new something was wrong with her.. i couldn't take her to the vet because i didn't have any money...i also had acat do the same thing.. could it be an animal disease going around? i need to know if it is soming that humans can get because i have a 5month old baby.. i don't wont her to get really bad sick..........

I am sorry but I can not tell you whether Humans can contract what your Dog died off because I don't know what ilness or disease she passed away from.

I can understand you wanting to protect your family. I would advise that you speak to your Vet and ask them to perform a Autopsy on your Dog. Once you have got the results of what your Dog died from, speak to your Doctor to see whether Humans can contract the illness.
