Thinking about getting a huskie!

So i was thinking about getting a huskie but i have 3 poms and they are horrible dogs they bark at everyone that walks in the door and they pee all over the place. So my question is how would i go about training the new puppy? and Im gone mostly during the day so should i keep it locked up and away from the other dogs? thank you for your time

The poms peeing everywhere will make it hard for the puppy to learn proper potty training. If you would want a husky now I would recommend going with an older calm dog (2-4 years old) They would already be potty trained, they might be swayed by the poms bad ways, but way less likely then a pup who doesn't know any better. Young huskies are also very destructive when left out. So I highly recommend kenneling up a husky period, older or younger. My oldest male I can leave out when I am gone but I can't leave him for more then 2-3 hours without facing the consequences (he gets angry and poops in the kitchen). I highly suggest, waiting till the poms have lived a full life. Other wise you are setting a young pup up for failure in training and the poor pup will be nothing but a nuisance to you. After the poms are done, get new carpet and such to help the new one be successful and a joy. -Michelle B
