Question
my husky is pregnant and i would just like to know that when she has her puppies do i have to separate her from the father which is another husky? the reason i am asking is because if i separate them just now the male just howls until the b***h is back with him.

Answer
When the puppies get born you will want to separate them. The bitch might get overprotective of the puppies and might decide to lay into him. Also it is possible that the male will want to kill the newborn puppies, I know some of mine do not think of them as puppies till they are AT LEAST 3 to 4 weeks and start looking and sounding like puppies. They sound like rodents and move like them the first few weeks of life. Siberians have a huge prey drive. It is a lot of work having a litter you should of read up on it all before breeding.
Here is some other info to read up on.
