feistiness

Question
This is a bit of a strange question but it is something I am curious
about.  My 4.5 month old bulldog puppy goes crazy whenever we
are out on a walk and I clean up his poop.  He goes from normal
and calm to very feisty and playfull, wanting to bite my toes and
feet.  After a minute or so he goes back to normal.  It's just when
he sees me picking up his poop that he goes crazy!  What is going
on with him??  Curious....

This is too funny. It could be two things. He sees the poop as something of "his" and doesn't want you to have it or he sees it as "nasty" and doesn't want you to touch it. Either way, it's a hoot.  By this time, you've probably made it more of a game and now he's playing along too.
