Doggy Day Care

Question
Our 16-month old English bulldog, Buster, is very hyperactive around other people and dogs. I've written to you several times, and you've always given me good advice.
We are taking him to obedience classes and trying to work with him consistently. And, he does seem to be improving, albeit slowly and fitfully.  He was not particularly obedient or well behaved in today's class.  Now he's passed out on the floor, completely exhausted from his 1.5 hour class.
The canine school we take him to also has doggy day care, and I'm wondering if Buster might benefit socially from going once in awhile to day care, all day that is, perhaps once or twice a week.  Would this help his behavior at all, or would it simply be good exercise for him, nothing more.  Thank you.

Answer
This is a great idea. The more interaction he gets with other dogs and people, the more relaxed he will be around them. His hyperactivity is probably a social anxiety "issue".  Give him all the day care and obedience he can take, even if you go through the class several times. It can only do him good.
