Creatures in the graval

Question
I have a 90 Gallon tank with a few different kinds of fish. Ex: Bala sharks, Catfish, Black Knife Fish, A Loach, An Angelfish, Some Gourami's and 2 suckerfish. In the gravel of the tank, there are these little oval looking creatures that are blue in colour. They look like a snail shell but are not snails. Could you please tell me what they are and how I can get rid of them. Thank you for your time.

Well, that sounds strange!  I tried doing a search on some of my normal links, this is all I could find that comes close to what you're describing:
