not feeling well..fulish sitting on bottom of cage not sure what to do.bird is about 22 years old. good house invironment

Hello Vicky.

You need to take your friend to an AVIAV VET.  It may be worms, or he may have a more serious problem.  If it is worms, a simple stool sample will show it, and he can be treated with some medicine that you simply put into his water.
Is he eating and drinking?  If so, that is probably the problem.

My Double Yellow Cap Amazon, who is now about 18 years old had the same problem and symptoms.  I was shocked when my vet told me that he had worms, but the medicine took care of it in about a week.
