We clean them as much as possible But is does not help.Do you have any idea how we can stop him.OrIf this is dameging him in his helth in any way he also likes fruit and seed and does not seem to be bothered by this but i am notsure if it is dameging him long term.

Answer
Hello Maura and thank you for your post.
Cockatiels are "ground feeders", so it does not really surprise me to hear that Pepper is eating his poop off of the floor.
Try changing his toys, even replacing some of them.  He may be doing this out of boredom.  Also, if possible, clean the cage more often.  Even if it needs to be cleaned every day or every other day, this should help.  Also, make sure that he gets plenty of quality time with you, and let him out of his cage for at least an hour a day.  This will help keep him from getting so bored, and it will also give him the exercise that he needs.
As far as his health goes, it really isn't good for him to eat his poop, but I think he may be picking it off of his toys rather than eating it.
My cockatiels all do the same thing.  They're cages get cleaned every other day, and once a week I scrub them down and disinfect them.

I hope this helps answer your question.

Good luck and God Bless.
