How can I get the birds (pigeons) away from my tree in the back yard and off my roof?  Is there a simple and easy way to get rid of them?

Hi, Jay.  Thanks for posting your question.

I have no idea, Jay, short of cutting down your trees!  They are part of nature and roost/live/nest/raise their babies in trees.  Your roof is just another high/safe spot in the area.  You might contact your local animal shelter or wildlife organization for assistance.  They aren't going to hurt anything by living in your trees and/or sitting on your roof.  Their poo dries up in a few hours and turns to dust/powder and blows away with the wind or the rain washes it away.
