My odd lovebird

Honey I have a love bird that is approximately 6 months old. It is solid gray. When I got the bird I was under the impression it would change colors with it's first molt. What is wrong with it?

You don't say what species this lovebird is. Some get some color after their first molt at about 4 months and others don't get their color until their second molt at about 8 months. So I don't think there is necessarily anything wrong with it. Wait until the next molt and I'm sure the color will come in.
