canaries

my canaries have laid 4 eggs, last time she laid i disturbed the nest by checking the eggs, so this time i just left them. it has been 3 weeks on friday she has been sitting onthem. will she abandon in a few days if they dont hatch or do i have to manually remove them soon? thankyou for your time

Most birds will abandon once they don't hatch on time. But I have had some hens who would just not give up. Have you checked the eggs at all when she is off the nest to see if they are fertile? Even though she started sitting 3weeks ago she may not have started incubating until the last egg was laid.
