Love bird health issues

Hi there, I do hope you can help me out here. I have two love birds, Remi and XO in the same cage, Remi is very friendly and loves to eat!!!! And I recently discovered tiny cuts on either side of her mouth. The other is still trying to get used to us and has a really sharp beck. Remi tends to love feeding him sometimes and when she is out the cage, trys to eat paint off the wall. What could be causing the cuts? Please help,  Thanks Carla

Hello Carla and thank you for your post.
What kind of diet is Remi on?  If it's an all seed diet, then the cuts could be caused from that.
Eating the paint off of the wall could be another thing, also, Remi trying to feed the other bird could be the cause.
Take Remi into a Certified Avian or an Exotic Animal Vet and have this checked out.  It is not a normal or a good thing to have the cuts on the sides of her mouth.  This could lead to some serious problems.
