my bird wont eat

i have an adult eastern bluebird that was hit by a car.it has been 3 days and he has not eaten or drank. his wings are broken and he can't fly.no one will take him(vets or wildlife services).I can't let him go to be eaten by cats.i have him in a box with a dark cloth cover.i am keeping him warm.i have given him cracked seeds and earthworms.he wont touch them.he has been sleeping and having bowel movements so i dont think he is injured internally.i hate to watch him starve to death. please help me.

No one is going to help you with him sadly. He is protected and cannot be treated as a pet by a vet...It sucks and I don't agree with it, but that is how it is.

He will die, the best you can do if you can't a get a vet or someone to help is keep him warm and comfortable while he passes. What you are doing is something very precious and I applaud your generosity and love for this poor bird.

You can try syringe feeding and watering him, it might help him survive, but I sorta doubt it.
