info on my pet pigeon

my pet pigeon is losing her feathers straight down the middle of her stomache...that you can see the meat...please help me!

Hello SAndra and thank you for your post.
It sounds like your bird may have a case of mites.  Take it into a Certified Avian or an Exotic Animal Vet for a check up.  The test id inexpensive and it is painless to the bird, but the vets can give you a better idea on what's going on.  It could be something in your bird's diet also, but only an Avian or Exotic Animal Vet can tell for sure.
