Ihave recently rescued a conure and would like to know if i can tell if my bird is happy,he screeches a lot,but i'm aware this is normal behaviour for a conure,also is there any way i can minimise his screeching.thanks

Hi,

Yes, it is common for conures to screech quite a bit. They are very vocal birds. However, there are things you can do to help minimize the screaming somewhat, and things to keep in mind to help you bird settle in and not be so stressed.
