molting

My lovebird has lost most of his tail feathers, he has only onr long one left, which looks pretty sad.  I don't see any new ones growing in, will he get new ones?

Yes, his tail feathers will grow back in.  Feathers always grow back in unless there has been damage done to the feather folicle (which often happens with birds who pluck themselves) or the bird is suffering from some medical condition.
