Question
Hello I am a inexperienced budgie owner,i got my male budgie bluey at about 6weeks old he is now about 5 months we started to get him mimicking our wisels and dancing to music and he was an all round pleasure antil we could tell that he was starting to get lonely wen we wasn't near by so we got another this time a hen she turned out to be a half breed called a latino rats what we was told. Yeh have a big cage which has the door open all the time so they are free to fly wen they want an they have lots of toys that they love ti play with they are very ibtelligant. Anyway since we got her she has started to bite and not want us near her and sqreeches all the time and now he has started to copy her and is not as interested in us its like they have ganged up I want to no is this normal? And cab we change it? Do we need to take tb female out and replace her with a male so we can have then more as let birds than interested in just each others company please heko

Answer
I have no idea what a Latino rats is and I don't know what you mean by half-breed. I also don't know what a wisel is, but I do understand your issue.
A single budgie will respond to humans one to one, but when you add another one, the budgies prefer each other, which is only natural.
If you want a human-budgie relationship, it can only be one bird at a time.
