my kakariki laid an egg

hi my kakariki laid an egg my male flew away a couple of weeks ago and she has been acting weird putting her tail and head in the air her back slouches downwards too and she has just laid an egg why is this?

It sounds like your kakariki is displaying (typical of birds who are "in the mood") :)
