birds and blacktop

Question
My apartment complex is going to be reblacktopping the parking lot in the near future.  I am concerned about my cockatiel getting the fumes.  She lives inside.  Would she be okay with everything closed up tight, and a fan and air conditioner running, or should I take her somewhere for the day?  If it was your bird, what would you do?  I am VERY worried about this.  Thank you.

This is difficult to anwser, if the windows are closed then she should be fine as I don't think fumes from pavment can come in a sealed room, thou if you think the smell can get in he may be better at a friend house.
