Cocakateil

I have a 17year old cockateil who has always talked and been very noisy. This week he has been unable to make hardly any sound and just seems to squeak very quietly. It is rather concerning as he has always been so chatty. he does not appear to be ill, still bouncing up and down and eating normally, are you able to suggest any reason for thelack of sound? It is just as if he has lost his voice.

I am sorry for answering so late. It may be that your cockateil is nervous, or something happened to change his life. I am not too sure why, considering my cockatiels don't know how to talk yet. Look into this situation more, and let me know what you find out.
