Question
I have a blue and green (keet)male and a yellowish white female. My question is they have been doing alot of what i refer to as soft talking, lot of kissing where the female at times while kissing will place a leg on the side of the male. Also they have been tearing at papers on bottom of cage (grate seperating paper from bottom).what are the signs that they are getting ready to breed and if they may have already ? Never been a keet daddy.

Answer
Hello, It is a good idea to introduce a nesting box at this time provided they are ofproper beeding age an over al healthy if a nest is introduced they will likley go to nest after a period of time...some keets will breed right away once they have a nest others may take months.
