Baby tiel problems

Without explaining a lengthy story and because of emergency situation.....a baby tiel, one week old, appears to be ignored by parents. They were feeding it fine and then yesterday I started finding it in the food dish, did not get there alone and outside of the mother sitting on an egg. I will handfeed but wonder if I can replace back into a nesting situation after handfeeding.

I really need to hear the lengthy story.  If the parents aren't feeding this baby, you will need to permanently take over the feeding.  If they aren't accepting this baby now, they won't accept it after you've handfed it.  You'll need to set this baby up in a brooder (or make-shift brooder) in order to keep it sufficiently warm, and you'll need to handfeed it at least 4 times per day.  See my website for more information on all of this:  www.angelfire.com/falcon/birdinfo/index.html
