Female Leopard wont lay eggs

Question
I have a female leopard gecko that you can clearly see the eggs on both sides.  However she has been pregnant now for over a month.  She has an egg box and eats well.  What do I do?

Answer
Hello Sassy,
Leopard Geckos will lay their eggs 2-5 weeks after mating so you might still have time. They won't lay their eggs if they don't feel comfortable with their area. Is this her first clutch? Be sure that the lay box is moist and setup correctly according to this site:
http://www.thegeckospot.com click on care then breeding leopard geckos.

If these things don't help try to increase the temperature to stimulate the season. Be sure she can get into the lay box and it is at least 4 inches deep of substrate.

If none of this works let me know and I will give you some more ideas.

If by 5 weeks after mating she still hasn't laid then take her to the vet she might be egg bound which is deadly if not taken care of immediately.

Good luck and I hope you get eggs soon
