Question
i bought a green anole and put it into a cage with a bahama anole. the next day i found the bahama anole biting the green anole in the neck. the green anole wasnt doing anything about it, they were just standing there. should i be worried that they are fighting or worried about anything else?

Answer
Hi Andrew,
Even though they are both anoles (one green, one brown) they might not intermix well.  Also, if you have two males, they will fight til death. If they are male/female it may have been a breeding hold. It may also be aggression between two females.
You also put the green anole into the brown anoles territory...which will cause the brown to defend. You need to properly sex them and if needed, give each their own proper set up.
