Question
Tiko
Tiko
I got the smallest crickets I could find and I pick out the smaller ones out of those. I also have a small container with a few mill worms in it. I don't have an undertank heater but the temperature in the tank does stay between 88-90 degrees without it. Should I still get one anyway? I will attach a picture of him for you. Thankyou so much for all of the help.

Answer
Hello Kayla,

Are you using a basking bulb to heat it then?
Well, it is recommended to use some under tank heating because it helps them digest their food.  So maybe try using a heating pad on low on the warm end & using a lower wattage basking bulb to keep the temperatures at or around the 88-90 range for him.  What type of thermometer do you use?  A round stick on type, a digital probe or a temp gun?
How is he doing today?  Tiko is a great name for him.  He looks good.

Thanks.
