Questionhow can i tell if my anole is a male or a female
Answer Males have a larger head, longer jawline and at the base of the tail above the vent you should see two bumps, side by side. Baby anoles have a whitish stripe down the back which the male loses, but the female retains. Both sexes have dewlaps, but the males are larger and pronounced. Some species' males will display a bright color when showing their dewlap.
