should i leave my UVB light on

hi Diane it's Kevin again thanks for the info i got the UVB light i think my bearded dragon is getting bigger and better he's attempting to eat crickets but not mealworms i was wondering should the UVB light stay on over night?

Hi Kevin,
At night, any lights that produce a bright, white light are turned off.  That includes the uvb lights.
Reptiles need to have darkness at night so as they don't stress.
Many lizards don't even like the "red" or nocturnal lights on at night. If you use the red or the nocturnal(they are the ones that look purple) and your beardie tries to hide from it, then he does not like it and if you need night time heat, will have to go to the ceramic heat emitters.
