Question
Me and my husband brought a bearded dragon from a reputable breeder 5 days ago we have been feeding him crickets and a variety of leafy veg, but for the past 2 days he has become very lethargic and wont feed on his veg or wax worms he just lies about with his head rested on his food bowl with his eyes closed and i am not sure what is wrong with him? He is about 4 months old and a friend of ours has his brother who is doing fine!!!!!

Answer
Your question was sent to the pool, but I will answer it.

This could be anything from improper prey size, improper temps, lack of UVB, poisoning, infection, impaction, parasites, dehydration...the list goes on and on, but serious illnessness manifest in this way with lethargy and closed eyes, and by the time you figure it out on your own without proper experience, your lizard could be dead.

There are too many things this could be, and I recommend a vet check up or it could be fatal.

Also do some websearches for Bearded Dragon care and related forums.
