my beardie has gone purple

I have a 9 month old girl bearded dragon, she has always been healthy and hasn't had any problems, but lately i noticed that when she was under her basking light, the spikes/horns around her eyes, mouth and ears were a very pale color, i only noticed that twice. then today i noticed those spikes were a purplish color, they stayed that color for about 2 hours then they went back to normal...do you know why they were purple?

 I would have to know if this girl is a color morph, that is, she has been bred for color.  It may be what will be natural for her.  To be sure, a good reptile vet can run tests to make sure all systems are functioning normal.
 All beardies change color while they warm up and cool down during the day, it's part of the way that they thermoregulate their body temperature.
