Question
One of mine has red looking things in the vent and still eats fine.the other one doesn't eat and doesnt have the red looking things.. and i had them for like a week im very nervous and dont have money to go to the vet. What should i do?

Answer
Go to the vet.

You should not have bought them if you had not the money to take them to a vet if something happened. That's called animal cruelty, and people go to jail for neglecting their animals.

The "red things" could be many things. It could be a prolapsed organ. It could correct on it's own, or it could be due to inflamed or infected tissue, or an impaction because you are feeding them wrong or they are dehydrated; in which case it could be fatal. If the lizard has exposed tissue coming from the vent, then you need to keep it clean and moist by rinsing with saline or room temperature clean water. Soak in lukewarm-room temp water for 30 minutes to see if the condition corrects on its own. If not, then try adding some sugar to the water. If this does not help, then keep the area moist and clean. Keep the lizard off of substrate and only on moist paper towels until you can get to a vet. If this is prolapsed intestinal tissue, then if it dries out or gets even the most miniscule of tears in the tissue; or if you do not see a vet and have the condition corrected properly right away; then the Gecko will probably die.

Not eating is possibly a sign of stress or illness, but as you have NOT followed my instructions for how to ask a question...I don't have much background to give you much of an answer. I don't get it...did you not see that big block of text right above the space where you typed your question, telling you what information I required to answer such questions? I don't understand why people keep right on asking stuff without reading instructions. Is everybody attention deficit disorder these days or something!?

Contact a vet anyway and see if they will work out payment plans or something. If you can't be responsible enough to do that, then you don't deserve a pet. I just don't know how else to put it anymore.

You should also do some reading on Leo Geckos and make sure that you are using the right setup, temps, food, etc. Here are some sites to read:
