food[leos]

Question
Hi, I was going get mealworms,but because of the shortage I got superworms. My problem is I have heard about them surviving and eating throug their stomachs. He chews them probaly caus he is 5 inches long. Should i be cautious. Thanks!

Hi Sam,
No worries...leos chew their food as they swallow...that plus the fact the the stomach acids in the leos will kill anything that would ever happen to make it down alive...
Just be sure the supers aren't too big for your leo. You don't want them to be longer than his head..
