Question
Hi, i just got a male leo and put it together with my female. He is eating but not as much as my female. He was attracted to her once i put them together which was fun to see. However my questio is this, he is not as energetic as the female is. He is stilla alert and he seems to be healthy. He doesn't really eat the mealworms but he eats the crickets. Is this normal? Also is he lethargis because i just got him and he needs to settle down? Please write back. Thanks for all your help.

Answer
Chris,                                                       He is probably just a little stressed. This is a new environment for him. They will work it out. If you are trying to breed them make sure you have a bag of vermiculite on hand. Keep it moist, but not wet so the eggs don't dehydrate. She probably won't lay them there. So you will have to move them. He will start flicking his tail when he is ready. I wouldn't worry too much. I think they are fine. This has been her house alone and now she has to learn to share. He is not going to starve himself. Good Luck, Tina
