QUESTION: Hello Tracie,

We are picking up the incubator today as she started laying eggs yesterday. we were told by the pet shop that she was not going to have them for about another week. she only laid 2 eggs yesterday from what i have seen. is this normal or should she be laying more at a time? Also how long do you think she will be laying eggs for?

Answer
Hello Tracey,

Well, it is difficult to know exactly when they will lay, it is usually an estimation.
She should be able to get them all laid within 24-48 hours, assuming she is not having any egg binding issues.  Hopefully she will get them all out soon!
Good luck.  I will want to see pictures of the babies when they hatch.  :-))
