Breaded Dragan

I have a breaded dragon that is about 9mth old. What does it mean when his whole neck area turns black. this has happen a few time in the last 2 weeks. I am not sure what I should do about this. Thaks Gloria

Hi Gloria,
It simply means your beardie is growing up!!!  He is basically trying to be the big tough teenager!!   There isn't anything to do about it other than continue to handle him as you have been.  We call it "black bearding"
You may find him doing it to his reflection in the glass of his tank also. If he starts to charge the glass  or spends all his time keeping "the other beardie away"(his reflection) then you will have to cover the glass with someting to stop the reflection.
