how to tell differance

Hi,

I just wanted to know how to tell a tortoise from a land trutle. I also wanted to know how to house, feed, and clean her. I've had her for a Boy Scouts Project, and we haven't found another home for her.

I'm afraid that without knowing what king of animal you have, I can't give you any particulars on care.  These web sites should help you to get started on identifying your animal and learning how to care for her.  The words "turtle" and "tortise" are just common names and which name is applied to which animal varies based on where you're from.  Good luck with your critter!
