Question
Recently i placed a crey fish into my tank and was asured by my relative that he wouldn't hurt my newt since he was small but alas he attacked him and managed to nip off the top of his tale and one of his back feet. Needless to say he was evicted form my tank. Now i don't think so but I'm not sure whether the Newt will regenerate its lost appendages. I hope you can answer my question

Answer
Hi,
thank you for your question.
Your newt will be able to grow the foot back. I'm not so sure about the tail wound because it is not a whole limb that is missing, but I think it will grow back, too.
It might take a few month and the foot might be smaller than the original one, but newts and salamanders can regenerate lost limbs.
I hope I was of some help
