Question
QUESTION: Ok I have a male normal colored baby bearded dragon and i was thinking what would happen if i would breed him (later on once he is an adult) with a colored bearded dragon. Which would be best a colored phased one or a morphed one, and why.I would also like to know if some of the babies would come out colored or if they would come out all normal. The thing is that i dont want to spend too much money buying 2 more colored beardies. and last but not least i found 2 lizards living in my backyard and i would like to know what species are they. they seem to be a couple (male nad female) because they live together . here is a picture of my dragon and a picture of the lizard outside my house, Beardie: http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/4388/beardie.jpg lizard outside : http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/7619/lizardn.jpg
Thanks in advance !

ANSWER: Hello Leo,

First off, before you plan on breeding, you need to make sure you buy from a reputable breeder.
A normal morph bred with a colored morph would take on qualities from both parents.  Some may have more colors than others while some might not have any color at all.
You will need to keep a male & female separated too.  It is not a good idea to house them together, so you will need to be prepared with a few tanks so you can house them separately.
I can't view the pictures that you sent, they are in the wrong format.  Did you copy & paste the link?
Where do you live, here in the United States, or in Australia?

QUESTION: Ok Thanks for that, and i live in Florida, USA. That was a link from a picture i took , i'm attaching a picture now see if it works (first time using this website, sorry)

Answer
Hello Leo,

Wow that is a georgeous lizard.  It kind of looks like a skink, but it is hard to tell what the legs look like.  Did you get a look at the legs?  The legs on skinks are short.
Where in Florida are you located?  Some species are more specific to certain regions in the state.  It looks like someone's pet possibly that set their lizard free or lost him.
I will see if I can do more research to find out what type of lizard it is.
