Baby Corn Snakes

Question
Tommy,
     11 of my babies shed over the weekend; I fed them one pinkie each today. So far, however, three of them have regurged and one hasn't eaten at all. I have separated those that have eaten and held down the meal (7) from the four that haven't. Any thoughts, advise on how to proceed from here, or what the problem might be?

Question -
I only plan to keep them in the deli cups until their first shed; I've got them separated so I can tell which ones  have shed and are ready to feed. After they eat, I plan to house them together in a 10 gallon tank. Will they be all right under their present conditions for the next 2-3 days. I have no idea what to use as water bowls in deli cups...

Question -
I have 2 two-year old corns, one male, one female. My female laid a 20 egg clutch on 4/15 and 77 days later, on 7/2, 19 of the 20 hatched. I currently have them all housed individually in 5" deli cups with moss. Please let me know what I should from this point forward as concerns timeline for feeding, housing requirements, etc. This is my first experience with hatchlings; the 20 egg clutch she laid last year perished shortly before hatching when the AC unit in my house malfunctioned while I wasn't home and the temperature rose well above 90 degrees for several hours. I know my babies are going to shed in a few days and that I need to feed them shortly thereafter; most importantly I need to know what their water requirements are. I am currently misting the moss in the deli cups daily; is this sufficient?

Hi Michael,

wow nice batch 19 of twenty is very good considering the average is around 80-85 % so good job so far.. you need to add some small water bowls the wet moss will not be enough, now as for living qaurters get em out of the deli cups lol.. the choice is yours, you can house them in glass or a lot of breeders use long rectangular tubberware bins (clear) you can save a lot of space by housing multiple snakes,if you still have them near 6mnths to yearling and you use tubber ware make sure it is 12 qrt. or larger, but either way make sure day time temp is 83-85 and night time about 10 degrees cooler humidity 50-60 percent at most to much humidity for corns can cause respitory and other health issues

         well i hope i was helpful if
         you need further help just
         let me know,

         thanks

Answer
Hey Michael,,
thats pretty normal, you can seperate the babies tat aree regurgitating and when you feed them cover the glass with news paper and let them 'hide' to eat.this helps the snake feel secure and should work, as for the late shedderrs just make sure the temp and lighting is right and they will come along, please keep me posted.

         thanks
