my beardie marley hates his vivarium!
i dont know why! the lighting and heating is right, he always has fresh food in his bowl and eats well, hes well hydrated. its 3foot long and about 1 and a half foot wide but hes never happy until hes out of his viv! hes normally out alot anyway. but even if i put him back for an hour or so to warm up he scratches the glass and wrecks the inside of the viv untill i let him out again~! hes in my bedroom so if i just leave i can ignore it and let him get the heat he wants but it doesnt work when he wakes me scratching at six in the morning!(and i thought beardies were quiet!!:p)
hes very placid and friendly, loves to be handeled when hes out just when hes in the viv hes aggressive!


also!(sorry!) how long should he be out of the light and heat for because hes usually out of the viv for most of the day, just roaming around the house and i didnt know if it was alright!!?

Answer
He should be basking for an hour to eat and two hours after to digest for every meal.  Getting at least an hour of natural sun can help also for the proper metabolism of calcium.  

Males will act aggressively in what they understand is their territory, so his attitude in his viv is normal.
