Answer
Hi Silvina,

I am quite certain that what you are seeing are  Brahminy Blind snakes and they are completely harmless. They sometimes get into houses accidently by following the moisture of the water pipes, that is why they tend to be found in the bathroom, kitchen or laundry room. Blocking the areas in the walls around where the water pipes enter can help reduce this occurrence.

Blind snakes usually live completely underground where they feed on small insects. They will come to the surface after a heavy rain. One of their favourite foods is termites so Blind snakes are good to have around. If you continue to see them it may be an early indication that you might have a termite problem developing.

Blind snakes can be fast but they cannot hurt you in any way. You might find sweeping them into a dust pan to be the easiest way to move them back outside. Let them go over some soil area and they will go back underground.
