Confusing Water Dragon

Question
I purchased a Chinese Water Dragon about 2 months ago, and it has been quite the wild ride with him/her. He's about 11 inches long. At first, he had quite the appetite, eating meal worms, crickets, and for a treat a few super worms. After a while he started eating less and less and I realized that his enclosure was too cold, so now it is heated to about 93 on one side and 85 on the other. The enclosure is recommended size. He had a lot of trouble with banging his snout and after trying many things to stop it, I finally figured out a way to make it stop. After all these problems were somewhat solved (his snout still has marks on it), he became lethargic and he still is not eating much. He began to gape and he made a clicking noise when he breathed so I assumed he had a respiratory infection so I gave him anti-bacterial food and kept his cage the same temperature at night. He has gotten over those symptoms but he is still not eating much, maybe one cricket a day. He has became more lively and he loves to be in his water bowl. Do you know why this eating problem is happening, and if I can do anything? There is no reptile vet within 7 hours so that is out of the question.

Answer
OK, well it sounds like he is just still recovering from the infection.  So I am curious to know when all this started and when it ended as this would allow me to better answer your questions.  I wouldn't drop the temperature below more than 5 degrees at night.  Give him another week and I am sure you will see him turn around.  Other than that Chinese Water Dragons also eat greens as well.  I hope this helps.
