Question
QUESTION: I am worried because I have noticed two dark patches, one on each side of my bearded dragons underbelly. It almost looks like the layer of skin under his scales is worn away in these two patches. The one patch is on the upper left part and the other the lower right part of his underbelly. The dark patches are roughly the size of a small fingerprint. What could be wrong?

ANSWER: I have no idea especially w/o seeing them.   If they are tender or start to ooze or stink see a vet.

QUESTION: He seems fine otherwise, I will send a picture. Might it be a burn from the heat pad. There are no blisters though?

Answer
Great picture!  Unfortunately, I still have no idea...  That could be a pigmentation issue (which would be nothing to worry about) or it could be something serious.  It doesn't look swollen in the pic, but you are holding him upside down so it's hard to tell.  If he is eating, drinking, and acting normally I guess I'd just keep an eye on it.  But if you have noticed any changes I'd call a vet.  Sorry, but I have never seen anything like that other than obvious necrosis, which this doesn't look like.
