Sons iguana

Question
Two days ago our sons iguana became very lathargic he his not moving
or eating his eyes are staying closed he's breathing but it is shallow we
live in a little town where none of the vets do reptiles

Hello Angela,

How old is his iguana?  Do you have any pictures at all of him?
Let's review your tank setup to make sure everything is all correct for him.
Such as what type & brand of UVB are you using, a fluorescent tube bulb or a compact/coil light?  
What are the temperatures in the tank?  Do you use a digital probe thermometer or a temp gun?
What are you feeding him?  
Are you supplementing calcium at least 3-4 times per week?
Do his eyes look sunken in?
